India’s Refugee Policy, Where You At?

For Rohingya refugee in India, even basic food and shelter seems like a far-fetched dream. India is not a signatory of two major International conventions on refugees (1951 UN Convention and 1967 Protocol) and this is ample excuse for India to send Rohingya’s back to Myanmar, essentially to their persecution.

India, along with Pakistan and North Korea, is the only few nations in the world that have no formal protocol when it comes to dealing with asylum seekers.
